What is the difference between a manual and automatic customer group?

A ‘Manual’ customer group is one that is created by adding customers one by one to a new group.

An ‘Automatic’ group is one that can have individual customers automatically added to or removed from depending on the results of a Saved Search. A ‘Saved Search’ is a filter that is automatically applied to your customers within the Customers section of the Shopify Admin.
